Cary manager BWP

It is with heavy hearts that we are writing you to let you know that our manager of 16 years, Cary Coleman, will be starting a new chapter of his life. Although Cary was not looking for a new job, he has received a wonderful offer from UCSC, and it is an opportunity he can’t refuse.Cary is ready for a different challenge and although we certainly hate to see him go, we are at the same time happy for him and his family. Cary’s last day will officially be Friday, July 12th; however we are having a party on Saturday, July 13th to send him off with all of our best wishes. You are invited to his going away party.

Business With Pleasure

Cary has provided Business With Pleasure and our community with exceptional service for 16 years, first starting when we were in Felton. We have been through many ups and a few downs at BWP over the years, but no matter what was happening, Cary continued to help build the business by providing excellent customer service. His fantastic technical skills, as well as his “can do” attitude have made him the perfect person to manage the wide variety of products and services at BWP.All of this, as well as his patience, dedication, and caring have been invaluable to creating the reputation BWP enjoys today. We can’t thank Cary enough for being our manager for so many years. He will continue to serve our community with his famous Chili Cookoff, benefitting various organizations and being a member of the “red shirts”, also known as the Clampers.

As Cary said to us, “You are like family to me, I love you guys.”Right back at you Cary!!We were the firstfriends to meet Cary and Jenny’s son Cody at the hospital when he was born in 2004.Cary, Jenny, and Cody were the first friends to greet me when I came out of a coma in 2013.You will be missed, but
hopefully never far away!

There are two things that console us during this transition. The first is that we have an amazing staff who will be here to carry on in our tradition of serving everyone with competent, careful, and friendlyservice. Two of our staff members, Trista Tolles and Ana Rose, have been with us for over ten years.Elizabeth Trugman and Tom Delacruzhave been with us for 3-4 years each.Carol Maladyhas been highly trained over the past year that she has been with us.Bruce Rodriquez, is our relatively new delivery driver, who is already providing good service as well.

The second good thing is that we have hired Rob Hyodo to be our new Print Production Manager.Rob comes from a rich technical background in the Silicon Valley and southern California. He is a graphic designer, video editor, photographer, and website designer. He has trained, led and managed various teams. He describes himself as a “Jack of All Trades,” which is certainly what is needed at BWP! We have found Rob to be a good listener with strong communication skills, and are told that he is a creative problem solver who is always eager to learn. He also served as the Corporate Chair on the Board of Directors for the Consortium of College and University Media Centers.Rob says that he has a genuine interest in the trust and well-being of clients as well as other team members. His references not only confirmed all of the above and more, but were the best references we have ever received for anyone.Rob is a well-rounded person with several hobbies, including weight lifting, yoga, martial arts, songwriting, and guitar and bass. Please help us welcome Rob!He will be on hand for our party as well so you can meet him.
